Budgam, October 12:(KNS) Legal Metrology Budgam seized a brick lot from M/s Shalimar Brick kiln, Nasrullapora Budgam and found to be undersize and under-weight in clear violation of the order passed by Deputy Commissioner Budgam.
A penalty of Rupees twenty five thousand was subsequently slapped against M/s Shalimar Brick Kiln with an affirmation through affidavit from the concerned offender that the lapse would be rectified immediately. It was also given out by the owner that to clear the old stock a rebate of 0.40 rupees per brick will be given over and above the rate fixed by Deputy Commissioner Budgam to the customers who are willing to buy the under-sized and under -weight bricks.(KNS)
