Budgam, July 02:(KNS)Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today inspected various quarantine/wellness centers established at many locations in sub district Chadoora. The aim of the inspection was to have an on spot status of facilities put in place duly required by the inmates presently put in these centers. The centers visited/inspected include wellness center at PMT Nowgam, quarantine center HSS, BK Pora and many more falling in the way. The DC also visited Red Zone areas of Chadoora town. During the daylong visit the DC in response to the complaints pouring in from different corners regarding illegal excavation of clay personally visited prescribed spots. He on spot directed the SDM Chadoora and other concerned authorities to formulate a comprehensive action plan pro actively, so that persons having nefarious designs involved in illegal soil excavation shall be dealt with iron hand positively. Any person involved in this kind of exercise will have to face the serious action warranted under rules. The DC during the visit also inspected various ongoing works/projects of different departments/agencies presently under operations at various places. Later DC convened a meeting at SDH headquarters Chadoora, that was also attended by GM DIC, Mohd Ashraf, who is also Nodal Officer (Quarantine Centers), SDM Chadoora Prince Noor-ul-Hamid, Tehsildar BK Pora, Chadoora, SHO Nowgam and Chadoora and other concerned. During the meeting SDM Chadoora in detail apprised the DC about overall status relating to development side and law and order and other public interest schemes presently going on at different places of the Sub district. The DC instructed concerned authority in the meeting that new hospital Building Chattergam shall be completed within one month time.(KNS)
