District Admin Kupwara establishes Helpline cum Counseling Centre for stranded people outside UT

Srinagar, Apr 15 (KNS): District Administration Kupwara on Wednesday established a Helpline cum Counseling Centre for locals stranded in various parts of country in wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), in order to facilitate citizens of District Kupwara stranded outside Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, a Helpline cum Counseling Centre has been established under the supervision of Miss Aamina (KAS Probationer) in the office of ACD Kupwara.
Those stranded outside parts including students, laborers etc have been asked to dial 01955-252257 and 9622427915 in case of exigency.
It is pertinent to mention that in wake of countrywide lockdown, hundreds of Kashmiris including students, laborers etc have appealed authorities to ensure their safe return to Kashmir. Also parents whose wards are pursuing education outside parts have protested several times against authorities and appealed them to bring back their wards back in wake of Corona Virus scare. (KNS)
