Srinagar, June 20 (KNS): President J&K Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi expressed sorrow over the recent incident of burglary in Ziyarat Khanqah-e-Mir Shams-ud-din Araki r.a (The religious preacher and first founder of Shia Sect in Kashmir) at Zadibal.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said, the incidents of theft at religious places are very regrettable and intolerable. Protection of religious places is the responsibility of state administration but unfortunately no attention is being paid to it.
Khanqah-e-Mir Shams-ud-Din Araki r.a has been the first center for the propagation of Shia sect in Kashmir and even today this Khanqah is a symbol of the same devotion for Shias of Kashmir. Aga Hassan demanded immediate arrest of culprits and recovery of stolen goods and amount. (KNS)
