Handwara, June 10 (KNS): Blolck development Council (BDC) Mawer on Wednesday met officer in command (OIC) 99 Beacon and discussed issues of various roads with him and the officer have assured him that all the raods in the area will completed very soon
according to statement issued to KNS reads, on recommendation of general public, PRI members of Mawer block, the Chairman block development council Mawer today met beacon OIC to discuss the pathetic condition of Mawer beacon road especially from Batagund to Chotipora and Sanzipora to Nowgam.

It also said, the OIC assured Chairman BDC Mawer Mir Tahir that repairment on Batagund-Chotipora road will be started from today and quality of work will be assured. OIC Beacon also said that work on Sanzipora-Nowgam road is in full flow despite no help from other departments.
While as beacon officials wanted the support from chairman to evacuate the road encroachment by common masses from Nowgam to Chotipora.Mr Tahir promised of every possible help to facilitate the people for better road networks in the block.

Lastly Mir Tahir thanked OIC Beacon for taking the issue seriously and for starting repairment work on Batagund-Chotipora road within no time.
Chairman also appealed public of Mawer block to co-operate with beacon officials, stop road encroachments take care of our responsibilities when we ask for our rights. He also said strict action will be taken against those who doesn’t leave illegal encroachments from beacon road within a week. (KNS)
