Baramulla to host interfaith dialogue on July 19

 Baramulla, Jul 14 (KNS): A preparatory meeting for the upcoming "Mulaqat" Interfaith Dialogue, scheduled to be held in Baramulla on July 19, was held on Wednesday to review arrangements for the event, organisers said.

 
The meeting was chaired by Save Youth Save Future Foundation Chairman Wajahat Farooq Bhat and attended by the foundation's office-bearers, including Women's Wing President Anika Nazir, Zonal President (South Kashmir) Mudasir Ahmad Dar, district coordinators and core committee members.
 
The participants reviewed the programme schedule, finalised coordination arrangements and discussed logistical preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the conference, the organisers said.
 
Following the meeting, a delegation of the foundation called on Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Syed Fakhruddin Hamid and briefed him on the preparations for the event.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
The deputy commissioner appreciated the initiative and assured the organisers of the district administration's cooperation, they said.
 
The "Mulaqat" Interfaith Dialogue, to be held at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, is expected to bring together religious leaders, civil society members, government officials, youth and members of the public to promote communal harmony, mutual respect and constructive dialogue.
 
The organisers said they hoped the conference would contribute to strengthening peace, unity and social cohesion in the region.(KNS).
