Bandipora, Sept 27(KNS): In yet another instance of prompt action and professional commitment, Bandipora Police successfully traced a 17-year-old boy from Assam who had been reported missing from his native village.
The boy, Gyandeep Rabha, son of late Prasanta Rabha, resident of Jogdaba, District Kamrup, Assam, was traced within the jurisdiction of Police Station Bandipora following information regarding his whereabouts.
Acting swiftly, the team of Police Station Bandipora, led by SI Himayat, made sustained efforts to trace the missing boy and facilitate his safe return. In an additional humanitarian effort, SI Himayat also facilitated the recovery of money due to the boy for his work from the owner and ensured that the amount was transferred to the bank account of his uncle, helping safeguard the boy’s financial interests as well.

After completion of the requisite formalities, Gyandeep Rabha was handed over safely to his legal heirs in the presence of a police party from Police Station Boko, District Kamrup, Assam.
