AAC condoles demise of Sheikh Mohiuddin, other well wishers

Srinagar, Nov 25 (KNS): Jammu & Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep grief and sorrow over demise of several significant personalities who have been associated with the organisation, Kashmir movement and the Mirwaiz Family.
Among them is Sheikh Mohiuddin, former Income Tax Officer in Azad Kashmir. He was a resident of Sheikh Mohalla Maharajgunj but presently residing in Islamabad, Pakistan. He was a close associate and disciple of Mahajir-e-Millat Mufassir-e-Qur’an Mirwaiz Moulana Muhammad Yousuf Shah (RA). He dedicated his whole life highlighting the Kashmir cause and remained steadfast on his principles and stance till his last breath.
AAC also expressed grief over the demise of Abdul Razzaq Batloo of Gojwara who was the brother-in-law of organisation’s senior member Muhammad Siddiq Hazaar; organisation’s most well wisher Er Nazir Ahmad Sofi of Anantnag (Islamabad); the sister of renowned social leader Muhammad Jamal Buchhoo of Rainawari; and the wife of Muhammad Yousuf Wani of Hubi Colony Lal Bazar. The organisation paid tributes to all the deceased for their contribution to the society.
Awami Action Committee on behalf of its leadership especially its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who has been under house arrest since August 5, 2019, expressed condolence and solidarity with all the bereaved families and prayed for forbearance to them to bear the irreparable losses. AAC prayed to Almighty Allah to accept the good deeds of the departed souls and grant them Jannat-ul-Firdous.
Meanwhile, several delegations of AAC visited the bereaved families and expressed condolence and solidarity on behalf of the organisation and Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir. They also offered Fateha prayers for the departed souls.(KNS)
