Sopore, Oct 05 (KNS) : Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian has strongly condemned the obstruction of its President, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi al-Safavi, during his proposed religious visit to Haigam, Sopore, alleging that certain miscreants deliberately fed misleading information to the administration and created unfounded apprehensions regarding the peaceful visit.
The Anjuman said Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi al-Safavi is widely recognised in Kashmir as a strong advocate of Muslim unity, religious harmony and brotherhood, and his regular religious and social visits to different parts of the Valley have consistently remained peaceful. Despite there being no record of his visits causing any law-and-order situation, it is regrettable that his religious engagement was restricted on the basis of alleged misinformation circulated by certain elements.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Anjuman urged the administration to conduct a thorough, transparent and impartial inquiry to identify those responsible for deliberately creating a misleading impression and, if their culpability is established, initiate appropriate legal action against them. It also urged the authorities to base decisions in such sensitive matters on verified facts and credible inputs rather than unsubstantiated apprehensions.
The Anjuman made it clear that no obstruction or pressure can weaken the deep-rooted religious, spiritual and fraternal bond between Aga Syed Hassan and the people, which is founded on affection, respect and unwavering trust.(KNS)
