Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS): During a special derive Nowhatta Police recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees from thieves.
As per details a special team was formulated by Sub Division Khanyar Police under the close supervision of SDPO Khanyar Raja Zuhaib Tanveer - JKPS to nab the culprits involved in the theft of jewellery, Fabrics and vehicles.
During the sustained efforts of the special team two thieves were apprehended from whose possession jewellery, fabrics and one Alto car were recovered instantly.
To this effect FIR No 01/2018 u/s 379 RPC, FIR No 55/2017 u/s 457,380 RPC and FIR No 27/2017 U/S 457, 380 RPC stand already registered. Further investigation is on and further recoveries are expected. (KNS)
