Hyderabad, Oct 9 (KNS): Advisor to the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, on Friday invited tourists from Hyderabad and other parts of the country to explore the Union Territory's diverse tourism destinations, highlighting its rich cultural heritage, scenic landscapes and growing potential as an adventure tourism destination.
Addressing the media at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) in Hyderabad, Wani said Jammu and Kashmir offers a wide range of tourism experiences, from its natural beauty and cultural attractions to adventure sports and other emerging tourism activities.
He extended a warm invitation to the people of Hyderabad to visit Jammu and Kashmir and experience its diverse tourism offerings.
Highlighting the region's growing profile in adventure and sports tourism, Wani made a special appeal to fitness enthusiasts, athletes and professional runners from across the country to participate in the upcoming Kashmir Marathon.

The Advisor also underscored the need for greater coordination and strategic collaboration between travel trade stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir and Hyderabad to strengthen domestic tourism and expand tourism-related partnerships.
He called for closer engagement between tour operators, travel agents and other industry stakeholders from both regions to facilitate greater tourist movement and promote Jammu and Kashmir as a preferred travel destination.
Wani said strengthening such partnerships would help enhance tourism promotion efforts and create opportunities for sustained cooperation between the travel industries of the two regions.
The Advisor reiterated the invitation to travellers, adventure enthusiasts and tourism stakeholders to explore Jammu and Kashmir and contribute to strengthening tourism ties between the Union Territory and Hyderabad.(KNS)
