Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): Mother of former DG Planning and Statistic, Gh. Ahmad Qureshi and renowned Physician Dr. Sonaullah Qureshi passed away this afternoon in Srinagar.
She was 75.
Family sources told KNS that the funeral would take place at their ancestral residence at Batgund, Magam in Handwara.
Many social, political and civil society groups have expressed grief over the demise and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Kashmir News Service (KNS) entire team including its Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat condoled the demise of their mother.
They also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and prayed for the courage of bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. (KNS)
