KYEF delegation calls on VC-KVIB

Srinagar, Dec 24 (KNS): A delegation of Kashmir Youth Entrepreneurs Federation (KYEF) led by its president Babar Chowdhary on Monday called on Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB) Vice Chairperson, Hina Bhat.
The delegation welcomed the break through steps taken by KVIB under the Chairmanship of Hina Bhat for disbursing 33.68 crore subsidy under MEGP plan within very short period of time.
Chowdhary in a statement issued to KNS said it is important for the beneficiary to get subsidy on time.
“We also suggest extending the policies of KVIB as it is measurably viable for rural development. We advise that the policies should also be implemented in urban regions of the state as if KVIB policies availed by the youth of the state on fast track basis, 50 percent of the unemployment of youth will be absorbed and the youth will engage more in economic activities and new entrepreneurs will be emerged which is the dire need,” he said.
“We hope under the chairmanship of Hina Bhat, KVIB will have a special role to curb the percentage of unemployed youth of the state,” he added.
Joint Secretary General Zuhaib Shah and Kais Amin Suhail appealed the youth to avail such schemes and engage themselves for self employment and earning livelihood. (KNS)
