Srinagar, Jul 11 (KNS): The Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has termed the continuous killings by Indian forces in Kashmir as part of a well planned genocide. The party has said that struggle of Kashmiri people for their political rights is going on since 1931.

Such type of a situation is enough to understand the policy of New Delhi which is to wipe out the whole pro-freedom generation. This genocide which is part of a long term Indian policy is aimed at crushing the political sentiments in the disputed region. He said that our youth are being massacred on one pretext or the other on daily basis which is a matter of concern and every justice loving person living in or outside India must talk against it so that Indian political leadership is made to understand that Kashmir issue cannot be resolved militarily instead New Delhi as to take practical political measures to sort out the issue.
Moulana Tari paid rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Sameer Ahmad Sheikh of Rawalpora, Shopian and his associate who achieved martyrdom at Kundalan Shopian while fighting the Indian forces. He prayed for the speedy recovery for those who were made victims of brute force by the men in uniform at Kundalan. He also prayed for the forgiveness of Muhammad Ishaq Naikoo of Meminder Shopian who passed away of a cardiac arrest after hearing that his son was trapped at Kundalan village, though it later proved wrong. Moulana Tari also expressed grief over the succumbing of another youth, Ubaid Manzoor Lone, of Nadihal village in Rafiabad Baramulla, who was critically injured on June 25 when Indian forces fired at a group of youths near Nadihal.
While referring to a gruesome incident in Sonawari, Hajin, wherein a lady was brutally stabbed to death by some criminals, Moulana Tari termed it the handiwork of those who have full support of the government forces because the inhuman act has taken place under the very noose of government forces. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
