Condemns killing of Mushtaq in police custody

Srinagar, Mar 01 (KNS): The Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has strongly condemned the killing of Mushtaq Ahmad Chopan during custody at Police Station Tral. The party has also paid tributes to two guest militants killed in Hajin at the hands of occupied forces.
While condemning the killing of Mushtaq in police custody, JKDFP demanded an impartial probe in the incident so that reality comes to fore. The party appealed International Human Rights Organization to come forward and play their role to stop unabated killings, bloodshed, torture and rights violations in Kashmir. JKDFP said that such killings have occurred in past also where inmates were killed and tortured by the government forces in custody but they had been given a different colour.
The party condemned the ongoing rights violations in nook and corner of the valley. JKDFP said that youth are being summoned to police stations and army camps which have created fear among the masses. Dozens of youth have migrated to other places to avoid their arrest hence spoiling their educational career.
The party paid tributes to two guest militants martyred in Hajin at the hands of Indian forces. The party also expressed concern over the disappearance of Kashmiri MBBS student Suhail Ajaz in Odisha. (KNS)
