Srinagar, May 05 (KNS): Peoples Conference (PC) candidate for Srinagar parliamentary elections, Irfan Raza Ansari Thursday said he is thankful to the voters who cast their ballots in favur of him despite being new in politics.

Ansari also congratulated the candidates who emerged victorious in the polls.

Irfan appealed the Member of Parliament for Srinagar constituency to respect the mandate given by the people, adding that problems being faced by people should come to an end.

“I appeal him not to differ with the people who cast their ballots against him,” he said.

He said that this election was great learning experience for him and in the process of this process; he met with various persons who helped him in learning and other things. “This was my first election and surely not the last,” he added. (KNS)
