BDCs chairpersons unfurl tricolor at Tanghdar & Teetwal

Karnah August 15: (KNS) The Independence day celebrations were held at several places in Karnah amid strict adherence to the SOPs laiddown in the wake of Covid-19.
The main function was held at mini secretariat Tanghdar where Block Development council Chairman Tanghdar, Reyaz Ahmed unfurled the flag and took salutes.
Among other the funcrion was attended by officers from civil administration, army officers and memebers from PRIs.
Speaking on the occasion, the BDC chairman highlighed the importance of the day and presented an overview of achievements & developmental activities being taken for execution in the year 2020-21.
similiaraly, in a separate function held at BDO's office at Chiterkote in block Teetwal the BDC chairperson Nishada Parveen unfurled the tricolor and took salutes in presence of officers from civil & military administration & members from PRIs.
Meanwhile in a auster function held at Army Goodwill school Baghbella, The brigade Commander 104 Shakti Vijay Brigade,Paramvir Singh unfurled the tricolor in presence of officers army and civil administration,school authorities and students who presented various cultutural activities at the function.The events went off peacefully as no cross border shelling incidents was reported when the news was filed.(KNS)
