Srinagar, Jun 03 (KNS): Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen has demanded to release all political prisoners on the eve of Eid-ul-Fiter.

In a statement issued to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen has urged the Governor administration to release political prisoners before ensuring Eid-ul-Fiter, as a goodwill gesture, so that they can celebrate this holly religious festival with their families.

He has pleaded that the health condition of some political prisoners was so critical that they need to be released immediately on humanitarian grounds.

PDF Chief has said that releasing of political prisoners on the eve of Eid has been a goodwill gesture in past also. (KNS)
