Srinagar, Aug 01 (KNS): Congress leader Altaf Malik has appealed people to get united at this crucial juncture irrespective of religion, region, caste creed, colour and party affiliations and defeat the elements and their nefarious plans which are against the interests of state and its people.

In a statement issued to KNS, Altaf urges GOI and BJP leadership to fullfill the promises made with Kashmiris from the red forte "VIKAS VISHVAS GOLI NEHI GALAY SE SAMASYA KA HAL" & safeguard the interests of state and its people and break the silence on article 35_A and Article 370 which is main reason of prevailing chaos uncertainty & panic amongst the masses over tinkering with articles.

Altaf asserted and cautioned GOI that oppressing, suppressing, repressing and additional forces deployments won't yield any thing nor the peace will establish in the troubled state unless the basic issue will not be resolved politically through reconciliations.

"Any decision which is against the state will only alienates people and widen the trust deficit," Altaf added.

"Every step of Governor to eradicate corruption, nepotism & drug menace will be hailed & supported and book all those whether politicians, bureaucrats businessmen and hoteliers who looted public exchequer," Altaf narrated. (KNS)
