Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): At least four militants and an Army commando were killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in South Kashmir's Shopian district.
A top police officer confirmed to KNS that four militants and a soldier were killed in the gunfight that raged following the search operation was launched in Shopian district today.
He said that the identity of the slain militants is being ascertained. He added that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the gunfight site. (KNS)
