DSEK pays surprise visit to different schools


Srinagar, Mar 03 (KNS): Director School of education Kashmir on Monday paid surprise visit to many schools in outskirts of Srinagar.
in a statement issued to KNS he said, Director visited a number of Middle schools where Kindergarten classes have been started and checked enrollment process.
The DSEK handout also reads that Director visited Government Higher Secondary School, HMT Lawaypora, HSS Gud Hasibhat, Hss Mugigund Middles School Mujigund and other schools besides some under construction school buildings of district Srinagar.
“He interacted with the Heads of the institutions and enquired about the teaching learning process. He impressed upon the Heads of the schools to ensure the targets set by the department are achieved with expected results within stipulated time. He instructed teachers of these institutions to work with dedication for the overall development of the education system of the Kashmir division,” a statement reads.
The statement also said that he interacted with the students and stressed upon them to focus on their studies and prepare themselves for the future challenges.
Expressing satisfaction over the attendance of the schools, Director Education expressed hoped this academic session will be taken in a mission mode by teachers and students alike
“He said that teaching community should give their best to the student community so that they should not face any difficulty during the learning processes. He stressed upon the teachers to give additional and remedial classes where ever necessary, so as to compensate the loss of teaching days during the year 2019,” he said.(KNS).
