Tour organised by JK Police under CAP

Srinagar, Aug 27 (KNS): Director General of Police Dr. S.P Vaid Monday flagged off a group of students for Bharat Darshan tour “Bharat Ko Jano” from Kathua. The group of fifty students including seven girl students, selected from all tehsils of the district started their tour from District Police Lines Kathua.
The tour has been organised by J&K Police under the Civic Action Programme and the group will return on 31st of this month. Three caretakers from the department are accompanying the group, who will visit different places during their tour. The caretakers will ensure proper health care and safe journey of the students.
Such tours are aimed to give the students of weaker sections know how of the diversity of the Nation. During their interaction the students will get knowledge of scientific developments and cultural heritage of the country.
Dr. Vaid had an interaction with the jawans and officers of district Kathua. He heard their problems patiently and assured their remedy.DGP also inaugurated the renovated drug de-addiction centre building.
IGP Jammu Zone Dr. S.D.Singh Jamwal, DIG JKS Range Bhem Sen Tuti and SSP Kathua Shridhar Patil are present on the occasions. (KNS)
