Srinagar, Dec 12 (KNS): Senior National Conference leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed has urged the administration to take measures on priority to redress the grievances of the people after the recent snowfall in Kangan constituency.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mian Altaf Ahmed said that there is shortage of essential commodities in Kangan areas besides people are facing hardships due to the non availability of electricity in the Kangan constituency after the recent snowfall.
Mian Altaf also said that the administration should gear up its men and machinery to clear various interior road connectivity in several areas.
He urged the administration to immediately put its men and machinery to work so that the essential commodities are kept available for the convenience of the people.
He also asked the officers of PDD to restore the power supply in those areas early where it has been affected.
Mian Altaf directed the authorities of health department to ensure round the clock availability of Medicare facilities at health centers in the constituency. (KNS)
