Jammu, Oct 9 (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday pitched Jammu and Kashmir as a potential hub for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), highlighting its skilled youth, educational institutions, connectivity and competitive operating costs.
Virtually addressing the J&K Global Capability Centres Summit 2026 at IIM Jammu, he said GCCs could connect local talent with global opportunities, generate employment and promote technology-driven economic growth.

The two-day summit, organised by IIM Jammu in partnership with the J&K Government and NASSCOM, is being attended by over 300 industry leaders, policymakers and academics.
Omar assured prospective investors of government support, single-window facilitation and an enabling policy framework to establish GCCs in Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
