Srinagar, Nov 24 (KNS): Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed his heartfelt grief on the sad demise of octogenarian Congress leader Babu Ram Sharma.
“I am deeply saddened by the sad demise of Babu Ram Sharma a senior Congressman who served the party unit of District Rajouri in different capacities and headed it as District president too. He had immense organisational capabilities and had devoted his life towards the welfare of his fellow citizens.” said Azad, in a statement issued to KNS.
He also expressed his deepest sympathies to his family and prayed to Almighty to give strength and courage to his family in this sad moment and also prayed that his departed soul may rest in peace. (KNS)
