Aga Syed Hassan to attend interaction with Iranian President in New Delhi

Srinagar, Sept 11 (KNS): Prominent Shia religious leader and president of the J&K Anjuman-E-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, is scheduled to attend an interaction with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in New Delhi on Thursday, sources said.

Aga Syed Hassan has been invited by Iranian Ambassador to India Mohammad Fathali to participate in an informal gathering of religious leaders, intellectuals and social representatives with the Iranian president.

According to the invitation extended by the Iranian Embassy, the interaction is scheduled to be held this evening at The Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi, followed by a dinner reception.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest and issues concerning the wider Muslim world, sources said.

Aga Syed Hassan is attending the interaction as a prominent religious leader from Jammu and Kashmir. His participation is seen as an opportunity for engagement between the region's religious and intellectual leadership and the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Pezeshkian is currently in New Delhi as part of his visit to India and his participation in the BRICS Summit.(KNS)
