Demands stringent punishment for accused involved in rape, murder of Kathua minor girl

Budgam, Jan 24 (KNS): President Anjuman Shari Shian and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has welcomed the UN Chief’s statement in which he said “UN is following the India-Pakistan border situation where there has been firing by both sides. He is encouraging both nations to hold a dialogue.”
In a statement issued to KNS, Aga Hasan said until the Kashmir issue is not resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the peace and stability is not possible in whole of the South Asian region. He also appealed UN to send their peace keeping force to Kashmir. “Kashmir dispute is the very old dispute and the people of Kashmir have given huge sacrifices from last 7 decades. UN should take practical steps in implementing the UN resolutions on Kashmir instead of giving statements, “Aga Hasan said in a statement.
He said that Kashmir was an internationally-recognized dispute and had been pending with the United Nations for last seven decades. He appealed to the United Nations and the world community to take notice of the Indian brutalities in the occupied territory and play role in peaceful settlement of the lingering dispute.
Demanding stringent punishment for the rapist and killer of minor Bakarwal girl Ashifa, Aga Hasan said that it is a heinous crime and culprits should not be shielded. He alleged that police tried to cover up the incident and under a well planned conspiracy, accused are being shielded and protected. (KNS)
