Srinagar, June 29(KNS): Bilal Ahmad Wani, a resident of Zewan, died due to electrocution while attempting to fix a faulty electric pole in Panthachowk.
The same pole had previously caused the death of a cow under similar circumstances.
Local residents have expressed concern over the lack of action taken to repair or replace hazardous infrastructure.

He referred to the long-standing issues in the area dating back to 1987 and called for a review of public safety measures.
Residents have urged the authorities, including the Chief Minister and the local MLA, to investigate the incident and take preventive steps to avoid future loss of life.(KNS).
