Baramula,12 Sep(KNS): The Finale match of the Zaloora Volleyball Championship 2023 was played between Smasher Panch Baramulla and the Jammu and Kashmir Police team at the Zaloora Panchayat Ground on Tuesday in North Kashmir's Baramulla district

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Shabir Ahmad Raina (JKAS) along with ACR Baramulla Mumtaz Ahmad(JKAS)was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. DDC Tajar Mohd Muzaffar Dar, Principal Higher Secondary.  School Bomie Abdul Ahad Gujri, BDC, Panch Sir Panch and other dignitaries along with a large number of fans participated.

According to the organizing body, a total of eighteen (12) teams participated in the championship, while the matches were played on a knockout basis, in which two teams, Team Smasher Panch Baramulla and J&K Police team, made it to the finals.


The final match of the championship was played between Smasher Panch Baramulla and Jammu and Kashmir Police team in which the team Jammu and Kashmir Police won and took the trophy of Zaloora Volleyball Championship 2023.

After the conclusion of the tournament, ADC Sopore Shabir Ahmad Raina congratulated the players, urging them to participate in sports activities with more enthusiasm and enthusiasm.He praised them for their excellence in sports and urged them to inspire others to make sports a habit in their lives.


Further, ADC appreciated the work of organizing department officials and Sports Association Zaloora for the successful organization of the tournament.

Later, the chief guest presented trophies to the winner, first runner-up and second runner-up teams and also presented mementos to the man of the match and man of the series.(KNS).
