Srinagar, Oct 18 (KNS): Expressing deep shock and grief over the demise of Zahid Rasool Bhat of Batango Anantnag who succumbed to his grave injuries today, CPI(M) leader and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has asked the government to take the incident as a wake up call and bring the culprits to justice. Pertinently Tarigami visited both the victims at Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi yesterday to enquire about their health.
In a statement issued to KNS, from Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), Tarigami said that the incident must act as an eye opener for the present dispensation that is yet to act against the forces who are hell bent to fragment the society on communal lines.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While appealing the people to maintain calm for the larger interests of the pluralistic identity of the state, the CPI(M) leader urged the government to effective measures against the rabid communal forces.
Tarigami extended his condolences to the bereaved family. (KNS)
