Srinagar, Jan 29 (KNS): A heavy contingent of police this morning placed senior resistance leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat under house detention.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Party Spokesman termed police action uncalled and undemocratic and said that puppet authorities have snatched basic fundamental rights of Kashmiris including right to pray to crush the ongoing freedom struggle.
He said that party chairman is not being allowed to pray particularly on Friday days and is also not being allowed to continue his political activities. Spokesman slammed police authorities and sought the intervention of international human rights watch dogs for safeguarding the fundamental rights of Kashmiris.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Spokesman paid rich tributes to martyr Mushtaq Ahmad Haroo of Pushwara Islamabad and wowed to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion.
Meanwhile, Zaffer Akbar Bhat condemned use of excessive force and tear gas shelling on peaceful protesters. He also condemned the nocturnal raids being conducted by the forces in southern Kashmir particularly in Naina-Batapora-Pulwama and Khanabal Islamabad. Bhat demanded unconditional release of all those detained and arrested youth. (KNS)
