Senior Pro-freedom leader and Chairman Salvation Movement Zaffer Akbar Bhat Tuesday visited village Padgampora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district to pay tributes to slain militant Irshad Ahmad Ganie, killed in an encounter last Sunday.
He also paid tributes to Bilal Ahmed, Rafiq Ahmed and others.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Zafafr whop was accompanied by party leaders including Molvi Rsasheed, Showket Ahmad, Javaid Ahmad, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmed and Beg Aijaz, Zaffer Akbar Bhat led a forceful anti-India protest demonstration from the house of slain militant to graveyard.
Hundreds of people mostly youngsters participated in the protest rally and raised pro-Islam and pro-freedom and pro- Pakistan slogans.
At martyrs graveyard people paid rich tributes to slain Irshad Ahmad Ganie and committed to take the mission to its logical conclusion.
Addressing the huge gathering, Zaffer Akbar Bhat highlighted the role played by youngsters in the ongoing freedom struggle and said that ‘sacrifices’ will not be allowed to go waste. He asked Indian forces to stop ‘bloodshed’ and said that killings, oppressive and suppressive tact’s can’t deter Kashmiris from achieving their goal of freedom from India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He paid tributes to Irshad Ahmad Gani and expressed sympathy with his family members.
He wowed to take the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion. “Our youngsters are laying their lives for breaking the chains of slavery and it is the collective responsibility of Kashmiri nation to take forward their mission of martyrs,” he said, adding freedom of Kashmir from Indian bondage is sure and certain.
He asked all the pro-freedom parties, social groups, civil society groups and others to shoulder the responsibility of taking mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion.
Terming the death of three youth in Pattan as ‘cold blooded murder’, zafar asked authorities to allow international crime tribunal to investigate the cold blooded murders and other war crimes committed by the forces.
He announced support to strike call tomorrow given by Veteran Pro-freedom Leader Syed Ali Geelani against the cold blood triple murder and asked people to hold protests on Friday after prayers till ‘killers’ are brought to the justice. (KNS)
