Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNS): Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat today glowing tributes to martyrs of Kupwara who fell the bullets of Indian forces on this day in 1991. Bhat also paid glowing tributes to Mushtaq Ahmad of Pushwara Islamabad who was martyred by forces yesterday in Kokernag.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Zaffer Akbar Bhat Wednesday while visiting civil line areas of Srinagar city under mass contact program reaffirmed to continue the freedom struggle despite odds. Bhat addressing the corner meetings remembered the sacrifices rendered by martyrs. He said that for the betterment of Govt; of INDIA and PAKISTAN and people of the subcontinent resolution of Kashmir issue is imperative without any more delay. He paid rich tributes to Kupwara martyrs and said that Kashmiris will never forget the Kupwara massacre in which forces killed 27 innocents Kashmiris. He also paid tributes to Haji Abdul Ahad Bhat and Haji Abdul Hamid for their service towards Islam, Movement and public.

Zaffer said that by awarding Governor Jagmohan, India has exposed its real face and Kashmir policy under which Kashmiris who demand right to self determination are being killed.
Meanwhile, a delegation comprising Imtiyaz Ahmed, Zubair Ahmed,Farooq, Nazir Ahmed on the directions of Zaffer Akbar Bhat visited Islamabad and paid tributes to martyr Mushtaq Ahmad. The same delegation yesterday participated in the funerals of martyr.
Delegation expressed sympathy with the family of martyr and assured them that mission of martyrs of will be safeguarded and their precious sacrifices will not be allowed to go waste.
Zaffar Akber Bhat paid tributes to Haji Abdul Ahad Bhat, Barzulla who has passed away today, said that Bhat and his family has played vital role in present ongoing movement. Zaffar also condole the said demise of Haji Abdul Hamid of wanable and express solidarity with the bereaved family. (KNS)
