Srinagar, Jan 15 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat today glowing tributes to martyr Sajjad Ahmad Bhat at Zewan Srinagar.
According to a statement issued to KNS, he along with party leaders comprising Abdul Qayoom Mushtaq Ahmad,Aijaz Beg, Mushtaq janbaz nabi, farooq ahmed, Ahmed salfi,Malik muzaffar visited the area and after Friday prayers led a procession from martyr’s residence to graveyard where glowing tributes were paid to the martyrs of Kashmir particularly to Sajjad Ahmad Bhat.and people pitch high through slogans in fabvour of Azadi and Islam.
Addressing the gathering, at Zewan chowk Zaffer Akbar Bhat wowed to take the ongoing mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion.He also paid tributes to shaheed Abbas Malik Doda,Iqbal Shardar,Ishtiyaq imtiyaz,Reyaz Baba,Akhter Abdul Rehman and other martrs of Kashmir.
He expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and said that Kashmiris in general and youth in particular are scarifying their precious lives for a secured cause.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe reaffirmed the stand that Pro-freedom leadership will not allow any body to waste the precious sacrifices of Kashmiris.
Hundreds of people joined the pro-freedom rally and raised high pitched Pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
Expressing concern over the rescheduling of NSA level talks which India and Pakistan where scheduled to hold, Zaffer Akbar Bhat urged both the countries to continue the peaceful process for the resolution of lingering Kashmir conflict.
He termed the meeting between Prime Ministers of Indo-Pak countries a golden opportunity for both the countries to resolve the core issue of Kashmir. “This is an opportunity for the two leaders to eschew bitterness and mean business on Kashmir which is the main sources of tension between India and Pakistan,” he said.
However maintained that if there is no active participation of people of Jammu and Kashmir in the dialogue process it wouldn’t yield positive results. (KNS)
