Srinagar, October 27 (KNS): Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat who is under house detention from last over two weeks, today paid rich tributes to youth who were martyred by forces in Drabgam Pulwama.
In statement issued to KNS, spokesman quoting Bhat said that sacrifices of Kashmiri youth will not be allowed to go waste and the mission of martyrs will be accomplished at any cost.
Bhat expressed sympathy and solidarity with the families of martyrs and assured people of Jammu and that Kashmir won’t allow anyone to waste the sacrifices of the martyrs and pledged that freedom from Indian bondage will be archived at any cost.
He said that the goal which people of Jammu Kashmir are pursuing since October 27, 1947 is genuine and will be continued till the mission is accomplished.
He said that from Oct 27, 1947 onwards Indian armed forces have killed people in lakhs, forcibly disappeared people in thousands and also involve in custodial killings and people in thousand have been imprisoned in Indian Jails and same no of people made disable during torture.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelZaffar also in his thanked people for observing 27th Oct as complete shutdown and black day and said that today’s protest and shutdown serves a referendum of people of Kashmir for world community.
On his directions, a high level delegation comprising Molvi Mohmmad Rafiq, Shamim Ahmed,Javed Ahmed M Afzal kashmiri attended funerals of martyrs Afaq Ullah Bhat and Abdul Manan Dar, Amerbug and paid glowing tributes to them. On the occasion they led the anti India procession in which thousands of people raised slogans in favor of Islam freedom and martyrs.
Meanwhile, Zaffar also thanked people for observing 27 October as black day and complete shutdown today (27 October). He said that today's shutdown is a referendum and world community should take a strong note of it. He requested UN to implement its resolution for the peaceful and lasting resolution of Kashmir conflict.
Spokesman also condemned the house detention of pro-freedom leaders particularly of Bhat. He also condemned the imposition of restriction today in Srinagar and other areas of valley. (KNS)
