Srinagar, Jan 12 (KNS): Senior Pro-freedom leader and Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Zaffer Akbar Bhat today called on Deputy High Commissioner Pakistan in New Delhi and apprised him about the prevailing political scenario.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Bhat in hours long meet, discussed Kashmir issue, political scenario and ongoing Indo-Pak talks with Deputy High commissioner and urged him to take Kashmiri leadership on board in the process for meaningful results.
Zaffer Akbar Bhat also apprised him about the grave Human Rights Violations being perpetrated by Indian forces particularly after Narendra Modi’s last year visit to Srinagar and appealed him to provide more support to Kashmiris on diplomatic level.
Deputy High Commissioner assured Salvation Movement Chairman that Pakistan will continue to provide moral, political and diplomatic support to freedom struggle of Kashmiris.

On his directions, a party delegation comprising Abdul Qayoom, Molvi Mushtaq, Aijaz Beg, Mushtaq Kashmiri participated in the funeral of martyr at Sempora and paid tributes to martyr Sajjad Ahmad Bhat.
Addressing the gathering, Molvi Rafiq wowed to take the ongoing mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion. Zaffer Akbar Bhat from New Delhi also paid tributes to martyr and expressed sympathy with the family.
He also expressed sympathy with the people of Pulwama district who are protesting against the authorities since last from two weeks. Zaffer termed the construction martyrs memorial rightful and genuine and said that other districts and areas should fallow Pulwama district for safeguarding the priceless sacrifices of martyrs.
Salvation Movement also expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of removed Sufi saint Sunh Shab and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. (KNS)
