SRINAGAR, May 26 (KNS): Apni Party Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas on Wednesday expressed profound grief over the demise of Peerzada Mohammad Naeem, uncle of Apni Party Youth Leader Peerzada Umar Iqbal, who today passed away after a brief spell of illness at his native village Bas Kuchan in Shopian.

In a condolence message issued to KNS, Manhas termed the demise as extremely unfortunate and expressed his deep solidarity with the bereaved family in this time of utter despair.

“Peerzada Sahab was a humble and sincere person who also served as an officer in the J&K Integrated Child Development Services. He was an exemplary & upright officer whose contributions in the child welfare will be always remembered,” he observed.

He said that all the district party members are grieved by this sad news and have conveyed their sympathies with the family members.

"We fervently pray for the eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear this irretrievable loss," he prayed.

Furthermore, DDC Vice-Chairperson Shopian Irfan Manhas along with other members have also expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in this hour of sorrow.(KNS)
