Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): Senior resistance leader and chairman Salvation Movement Zaffar Akber Bhat on Sunday strongly condemned the fresh arrest spree and use of brute force and tear gas shells on peaceful protesters and mourners.
He condemned the use of excessive force on peaceful protesters particularly youth during from last over one week particularly after the unfortunate death if Kashmiri trucker-Zahid Rasool Bhat. Bhat who was on way to Srinagar along with the driver and conductor sustained critical burn injuries along the duo, however later lost battle of life to his burn injuries in Safdergung hospital New Delhi while as the conductor Showket Ahmad is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Trio were attacked by BJP backed RSS goons in Udamphur district.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelZaffer condemning the incident said that indiscriminate shelling over the people during last 10 days in different parts of Kashmir after the murderous attack on truckers at Udhampur and detention of youth at Srinagar and Islamabad are grave human rights violations.
While demanding their early release of detained and arrested youth, Zaffar said that such kind of pressure tactics cannot suppress the voice of people for right to self determination.
Zaffar who is under detention for last 10 days appealed human rights bodies to take the positive steps to avoid more human rights violations in Kashmir by Indian troops. (KNS)
