Srinagar, Dec 30 (KNS): A high level delegation led by Salvation Movement chairman, Zafar Akbar Bhat facilitated Democratic Freedom Chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Bashir Ahmed Bhat, Showkat Bakshi, Shakeel Ahmed Bhat, M younis Sofi on their release.
According to the statement issued to KNS, Zafar Akbar expressed his pleasure and hoped that all detainees will be released and those languishing in outside state jail will be shifted back to valley.
Deputation including, Zulifkar Hamid, Moulana Rashid, Mehraj ud din, Nazir Ahmed, Aijaz Ahmed and visited residences of M Sikander, Bashir Ahmad Bhat and facilitated them on their release.
Deputation visited pellet victims in Srinagar and expressed their solidarity.
Meanwhile, team visited to SMHS, B&J hospital and enquired from those injured during present uprising.
Zafar Akbar while expressing his dismay over the continuous detention of youth in Kauthwa, Kotbulwal, Udhampor and police stations, said that police is un necessarily harassing youth and making their future bleak.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He stressed immediate halt on arbitrary measures employed by police against peaceful citizens.
Akbar said that even the judiciary is processing the cases in snail’s pace and detainees lodged in outside jail and their family members are humiliated during meeting .he said the jail mates are denied basic and medical facilities.
He also condemn the re arrest of Masrat Aalam Bhat,house arrest of Asia Andrabi.
Spokesman also condemn the brute force used over common people at Samboora pulwama and other places when people were protesting against human rights violation in the same area by Indian security forces. (KNS)
