Kupwara December 14 (KNS): Youth Service and Sports Kupwara on Tuesday distributed sports kits among the Eighteen Sports clubs of Machil Block.
According an official, the Youth Service and Sports Kupwara distributed cricket and Volleyball kits among the 18 sports teams of Machil. The kits were distributed under the scheme of V2v4 and Aspirational block, by sports officials in presence of DDC member Mustafa Rahie, BDO Machil Mushtaq Ahmad, and, other PRIs members were also present.
During a Block Diwas programme in Rajwar block, the YSS Kupwara in presence of DC Kupqwara Dr Sagar, DDC Rajwar, Mir Suliman, distributed 15 kits among the teams of Rajwar block.
The officers handed over sports kits and urged the youth to take the sports to opt healthy life style.
While interacting with the representatives of various sports teams and associations, the officals said that the Youth Service sports and district administration is keen to develop sports infrastructure in the district. (KNS)
