Kupwara July 15 (KNS): The Youth Service and Sports Kupwara on Thursday carried an extensive cleanliness drive of water bodies in Lolab village of Kupwara.

According to a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS), cleanliness drive of  Spring near Jamia Masjid Putpora Dorusa Lolab was conducted by the department of Youth Services & Sports Kupwara today as the water body is  adopted by the department under banner of preservation of water bodies under Jal Shakti Abhiyan scheme. 

The cleanliness drive was conducted by the officials of YSS department district Kupwara under the dynamic supervision  of worthy DYSSO Kupwara, S Jatinder Singh.
 
On the occasion DDC Sogam Nasir Ahmad Lone, Sarpanchs of the adjoining areas and large gathering of the people were also present and appreciated this initiative of the Department. (KNS)
