Langate August 03:(KNS)  Youth service and sports Kupwara zone Langate on Thursday held a road race event in Langate. 

In the event 355 students from around 40 schools participated in the road race. District youth service sports officer Kupwara Jatinder Singh were the Chief guest at the event. 

Mehraj Din from UPS Hampora registered the first ranking, Yasir Altaf from BMS Panditpora, Rashid Maqbool from HS Kachloo respectively 2nd and 3rd.

Road Race Competition organised by youth services and sports zone Langte began at 6 o clock morning from Khan Tulwari to Steel bridge Langte . 

Besides youth service and sports chief Kupwara,the occasion was also graced by municipality  Chairman Langate, Zahoot Ahmad Mir PEM G HSS Langate and Activities incharge Br Tufal and Anderpal  Harjeet Singh and other Field staff were also present on the Occasion.

Locals of the area appreciated the efforts of youth services and sports.
