Handwara, Oct 09 (KNS): Under ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ a cleanness drive was launched by Youth service and sports Kupwara at Tehsil Qalamabad in north Kashmir’s Handwara.

During this program, a rally cum cleanness drive was conducted at Qalamabad by Education department youth services and sports department who took part in this cleanliness drive under clean India Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.

The drive started at Qalamabad which was flagged off by DDC member Mawer Khurshid Ahmad Dar in the presence of Tehsildar Qalamabad, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Qalamabad Mohd Maqbool Lone, ZEO Mawerand SHO Police station Qalamabad Shiekh Javid Ahmad.

The drive started from Govt model Hr sec school Qalamabad via Qalamabad market and Nallah Mawer near steel bridge Audra.

The basic motive was to aware the general public of cleanliness. (KNS)
