Youth JKPC extends support to Medical aspirants for delaying the idea of pooling of PG seats

Srinagar July 01 (KNS) : Extending the party support to protesting Doctors against the Jammu and Kashmir administration's proposed move to pool 50 per cent post-graduate seats from Government Medical College (GMC) and all seats of Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences for all-India quota this year youth JKPC Youth Leader and Social media head Mudasir Karim has said that LG administration should consider the demand of protesting medicos in the larger interest of JKUT. 

 
He said that the idea if implemented will harm the interests of aspiring PG candidates of JKUT as the state has a meagre number of seats which would get further get decreased up to 172 seats only for domicile aspirants when pooled with the All India quota which is share injustice with the union territory of JK. 
 
Mudasir urged the LG administration to allocate the seats for PG courses in newly started Medical Colleges in erstwhile JK in which courses for MBBS have already been started so that maximum PG aspirants of JK get their chances to pursue their degrees before implementation of the idea of pooling in All India Quota. 
 
Mudasir said that the LG administration needs to listen to the genuine grievance of these PG aspirants and ensure that other interests of JK UT are safeguarded as well as the state is having meagre sources and employment.(KNS)
