Srinagar, Nov 26 (KNS): Describing youth empowerment as an important aspect of every democratic process, JKPC youth president Sheikh Mohammed Imran has said that the main agenda and vision of our party is youth and their welfare. He said that party president Sajad Gani Lone is fully aware of the problems of the youth of the state as they have been mostly exploited by previous regimes for mere party political gains and their aspirations were always been unaddressed or other pretext through these party’s.

“Our party's main focus would be on youth empowerment and better employment opportunities on merits and transparency,” Imran said. He was addressing a youth meeting convened today in Srinagar.

Youth General Secretary Mudasir Karim, Coordinator Kashmir Salman Bukhari, Vice President North Kashmir Javid Mir, District President Kupwara, Mansoor Bandey, District President Kupwara for Social Media Rahil Dar, Constituency Presidents Showkat of Budgam, Ikhlas of Shangus, Dawood of Sonwar, Vice President M Arif of Sangrama segments were also present and spoke to the occasion.

Speaking in the meeting General Secretary Youth PC Mudasir Karim emphasized upon the strengthening of the youth wing at grass roots at every constituency level and urged the youth to be more vibrant in taking forward the party agenda and pro-people vision of true and honest leadership of the party. 

He said that youth is the real asset of our party and they should actively involve themselves to strengthen democratic values and be at the forefront for redressal of public issues by highlighting them through social media etc. (KNS)
