Srinagar, Jan 19 (KNS): Youth clubs registered under Nehru Yuva Kendra in Anantnag district have charged the officials at the center of favoritism and bias in distributing sports kits to the clubs.
The youth said that the officials of the district administration while distributing sports kits in the Kendra Tuesday “chose” clubs as per the choice of employees of the Kendra.
District Coordinator, NYK Anantnag, Mohammad Khalil Mir, denied the allegations, saying that the sports kits were distributed to 60 clubs because “they are active”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“No favoritism or was done by the administration or the officials of the Kendra,” Mir told KNS.
He said a total of 280 youth clubs are registered at NYK in the district. (KNS)
