Young Minds Are Our Guarantee of a Developed Future: Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi

Srinagar, Nov 23 (KNS): Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Sunday said that with the world rapidly transitioning into an era dominated by artificial intelligence and technological advancement, teachers have a pivotal responsibility in shaping young minds to be future-ready.

According to a press release issued ,Dr. Andrabi made these remarks while participating as the Chief Guest at the Annual Day function of Spring Buds School, Ompora Budgam. She was warmly received by the Chairman of the school, Mohammad Shafi Qureshi, Principal Shahnawaz Qureshi, alongside staff members and parents, amid a grand cultural presentation.

The Waqf Chairperson witnessed a series of cultural performances and also visited the Science and Knowledge Exhibits prepared by students, showcasing their creativity and innovative learning.

Addressing a gathering of students, teachers, parents, civil society representatives and officials from various government departments, she said:

Highlighting the significance of modern education, she added:

“In the age of artificial intelligence, teachers have bigger roles to play. We have to broaden the thinking horizon of our children so they are ready to become global citizens and technological leaders.”

Dr. Andrabi stressed that inclusivity and peace education are essential to help the youth remain relevant and empowered in the changing world.

“Our young kids are our guarantee for a prosperous future. India is advancing at an unprecedented pace and taking lead positions globally — our youth must be both contributors and beneficiaries of this transformation,” she said.(KNS)
