Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Young men’s league Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi said the Kashmir dispute which has endangered the peace in South Asia must be resolved according to the United Nation resolutions.
In a statement to KNS, Reshi said 05 January 1949 farms the legal base to Kashmir dispute when in Historical Lal Chowk Respected Indian prime minister Pundit Jawhir lal Nehru said Kashmiris will given chance to choose their future and Kashmir will be solved according to the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir .Regarding to 5 January party has decided to send a memorandum to UN sectary General through mail.
Reshi said Kashmir issue is a big challenge to international community and United Nations organization but still world hasn’t paid any attention towards Kashmir Issue, world most important issue that can disturb the peace in whole world if not resolved peacefully.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Reshi said that the Kashmir as a political as well as international dispute and passed resolutions for its solution. International community cannot ignore the history of Kashmir issue “people of Kashmir are struggling for securing right to self-determination.
He said that will the global political scenario changing rapidly and fastly so it’s imperative for both the countries to resolve the dispute through UN resolutions. He said that through Kashmir resolution peace and stability can be guaranteed in whole south Asian region as well as in India and Pakistan who have fought over three battles over the issue.
Imtiyaz Reshi appealed international community including United Nations to take a strong notice of present situation in Kashmir particularly of the ongoing human rights violations by Indian troops. (KNS)
