Srinagar, Jan 25 (KNS): Vice President PDP Youth and MLA, Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir has welcomed initiative of the Union Home Ministry to offer 2nd round of amnesty to the youth of the kashmir allegedly involved in various stone pelting incidents. "Withdrawal of FIR's would surely bring cheers among thosands of youth involved in stone pelting cases in kashmir as it would remove crime stigma from their character and also enable them to rebuild their career, "Yawar said in a statement this afternoon.
He said withdrawal of FIR'S against youth allegedly involved in stone pelting is a big CBM as they shall now onwards focus on their education and career building. Yawar has also hailed the Home Minister’s initiative to formulate a new Surrender and Rehabilitation for the disgruntled youth of the state to provide them an opportunity to noin mainstream and start their business. He said the proposal to provide monetary aid and skill development training to the disgruntled youth is a pragmatic peace revival initiative.
Yawar has hailed efforts of the Chief Minister to motivate central leaderships for approving proposed amenesty scheme for stone pelters and surrender cum rehabilitation policy flr disgruntled youth and militants in the state. (KNS)
