Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Yawar Mir on Sunday appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to release the wages of HDF employees and other casual and need-based employees of several departments who are without salaries since last few years.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Yawar Mir who is also a former MLA from the Rafiabad constituency, appealed LG Manoj Sinha to release pending wages of HDF employees and other casual and need-based employees who are putting their lives at stake in times of pandemic.

He said the employees working under HDF are diploma holders, professional electricians, drivers etc and authorities should immediately release their wages so that they too can feed their families.

He also said the causal labourers and need-based employees are putting their lives at risk while performing their duties in pandemic times, so authorities should take due care of their needs. (KNS)
